An
excellent magazine that is published quarterly specifically
for the adult TCK (Third Culture Kid).
The definition of a TCK as written by David C Pollock is “An
individual who, having spent a significant part of the developmental
years in a culture other than the parents’ culture,
develops a sense of relationship to all of the cultures, while
not having full ownership in any. Elements from each culture
are incorporated into the life experience, but the sense of
belonging is in relationship to others of similar experience.”
The adult TCK may be a missionary kid, military kid, or someone
whose parents worked in business overseas.
These magazines encourage and empower the Adult Third Culture
Kids.
Themes from recent issues include:
Grief
Values
Holiday Edition
Finding the Key to Home
