MTI Connect
What is MTI Connect?
Mission Training International (MTI) has the privilege of offering programming that is an essential part of the preparation and long-term vitality of cross-cultural workers. In pursuit of this calling, we seek to deepen our partnership with organizations, agencies, and churches that entrust their staff to us.
“MTI Connect” exists as a space for shared collaboration, ongoing learning, and meaningful growth among partners alongside MTI staff. Through the exchange of insight, encouragement, and proven practices, we aim to support cross-cultural messengers as they grow in their capacity to thrive throughout their service.
We hope that MTI Connect:
introduces you to our staff and gives you a taste of our core offerings
helps you grow in better walking alongside those cross-cultural messengers who have attended our programs
facilitates connections with other agency personnel for mutual encouragement and shared learning
provides time and space for retreat and refreshment
Who Attends MTI Connect?
Due to the collaborative nature of this event, we strongly recommend the attendance of 2-3 individuals from the same agency (if this would be difficult for your organization, please contact us).
The gathering is intended for those individuals who are highly involved in the developing and equipping your cross-cultural messengers. This could include: Leadership, Mobilization, Pre-field preparation and training, HR, Member care, and/or TCK care.

We are particularly excited about our discussions regarding fruitful practices. In preparation for these discussions, we would appreciate it if you could reflect on the following questions and jot down your thoughts to share during our facilitated discussion:
What is one thing singles have done to thrive on the field?
What is one thing couples have done to thrive on the field?
What is one thing parents have done to help their kids thrive on the field?
What is one practice that has helped your people and/or your agency learn language effectively?
What is one thing your agency has done to cultivate healthy relationships on the field?
What is one practice your people have followed to strengthen their spiritual walk?
What is one thing your agency has done to build a strong relationship with God & the team on the field?
We know everyone experiences ups and downs in cross-cultural ministry. What is one thing your people and/or your agency has done that helped them recharge on the field/on furlough?
