Looking for a summer internship that goes beyond a desk and makes a real impact? MTI’s 10-week Operations Internship offers a dynamic experience in a professional environment. You will gain practical skills, explore multiple areas of organizational operations, and contribute to something that matters.

We shape the internship around your interests, academic requirements, and personal goals. You will rotate through core departments and contribute to the behind-the-scenes work that supports MTI’s programs and participants.
Your internship could include immersive experiences in:

Communications & Engagement
Marketing & Media
Internal & External Messaging
Donor Relations
Hospitality
Facilities & Grounds
Housekeeping Management
Culinary Services
You will spend focused time in each area. For your final two weeks, you will choose your favorite department and complete a final project - something meaningful that reflects your learning and contribution.

Must be 18 or older

We will be accepting applications for the summer of 2026 from October 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.
Interviews will take place in January 2026.
Final candidates will be selected and all applications will be notified in February 2026.
The internship will be May 2026 through August 2026. The exact timing would be adjusted based on the school year timeline.

Interns receive a stipend of up to $2,000, with the opportunity to raise an additional $2,000 in support-based funding.
You are welcome to eat any meals provided during program weeks - breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all available. During non-program weeks, interns are responsible for their own meals.
MTI does not provide housing. If you need assistance finding a housing option for your time in Colorado, please feel free to contact us.
